My Southern California adventures started in the spring of 1981. I met Doug Randal keyboardist of the famed Mark Lesman-Johnny Almond Band. He pointed the me the way to meet Barry Cummingham and become the driving force for his "Black Slacks Band". A high powered rockabilly style format, although shortly lived, it got my feet in the door way of the San Diego music scene. (more to follow...stay tuned)
